How to learn new languages in 2018?
The Next Big Futures program (NBF) is a two-day course on learning new languages, from the core language to more advanced topics.
The program is taught by a team of teachers and students, including Julia Childs, a linguist who has worked with the NBS and other schools.
We’re thrilled to share the first video we produced with you today.
The NBF was created to help kids learn the new languages.
This video introduces the program and highlights some of the topics covered.
Topics covered include: learning how to express thoughts using syntax, writing and reading, learning to think in new ways, writing new ideas, and developing skills to express your thoughts.

More About Julia Child’s NBS: The NBS is a partnership between the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), which supports the advancement of scientific and technological knowledge.
The NMS-sponsored NBS offers a range of hands-on, hands-in-hands programs for students and teachers at schools, colleges and universities across the country.
The curriculum is designed to support student-teacher interactions, with students learning by writing and talking about what they have learned and how it has been used.
The videos are made possible by the generosity of the National Education Foundation, the NMS, and the NIST.
